I wish I were referring to Adilyn when I say "Baby Steps" but not quite yet. She is walking along everything and standing on her own but she isn't taking those steps yet. What I am referring to is.....we're leaving Altus and we're 1 step closer to Dover! So, yes, we're moving again! Tim has his 3 flights left and then he's finished. He was told Wednesday afternoon that he'd be going to Charleston on Friday so he left this morning and he'll be home Monday night (he'll be stopping in Florida and Key West before getting to Charleston...don't know that he'll be able to see some sights though). This leaves Addy and I to pack up and clean the apartment this weekend. Hopefully I won't go crazy because all she does lately is hang on me and whine....any ideas on how to get her to stop that?? PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!! I was hoping for a break while she naps but as I type this I can hear her in her crib, another nap cut short...only 40 minutes MAX. :(
Anyway, Grandma Julie comes Monday so she can drive to Utah with us, we'll probably drive away on Wednesday and Tim will leave when he finishes his flights. How ready I am to move on. I've met some great people in our ward though, so it's a little bitter sweet to leave.

So Crista, I am exciting that your time at Altus is coming to an end. Hopefully just as the Spring weather starts hitting Utah so you guys can spend sometime outside. Sorry, to hear Addy is being a whiner. Claire just got over that a few weeks ago and my theory is that it's teething. I tried Tylenol and it kind of knocked the edge off it, but honestly I just endured weeks of the clinging whining. It did come to an end...not soon enough, but i still have most my sanity, so God was watching over us. Claire is also still alive and unharmed, also a good thing!! When Claire was just too much, I put her in her crib. She cried for about 10 minutes and then when she realized I wasn't returning she just started to play in her crib. I felt a little guilty at first be looking back...it's gone. I got stuff done and she learned that she can make herself happy and doesn't need me for that all the time. Love you guys. Wish I was there to give you a break and help you clean!! good luck with the drive!
Give her her own little box with some toys to put in them, once she has done that dump them out and let her do it again. That might take up ten min. or so! Good luck! The thought of moving and having to pack up is the reason we still have not moved.

Yeah for you!! I'm excited that you're moving on to Dover - you'll have to give me the scoop. ;) As for the whining - if you find out the secret, PLEASE let me know. I think Daniel is definitely headed down that path and it's already VERY trying on my patience. Anyway, take care, have safe travels, and we'll see you soon enough!
