Sorry, but we're goin crazy here!

Well, the time has come and we're moving to Delaware. Sorry for the lack of communication lately, I have been in Idaho for quite a while with my grandparents. What a great time it was to relax with them and let Adilyn get to know them since we're moving far away. Plus, I had a chance to see my dad and his wife quite a bit so all around it was a perfect trip!

I just wanted to quickly post because Tim is back in Del Rio (YIPPPEEEEE, Surivival is OVER!) and we are beginning the moving tomorrow. My dad leaves Bountiful with my car and dogs tomorrow and he'll meet up with Tim in Oklahoma on Monday. Then, Tuesday they will begin the drive to Delaware and Adilyn and I will fly out that morning from SLC and head to Philly where my dear friend, Nikki, will pick us up.

WOW, I'm out of breath just typing that paragraph! So, I'm sorry I haven't posted pics of Adilyn's birthday and such...it'll still have to wait. Thanks for all your love and support during this crazy time for us. We're very excited and wish you all would come visit us!!!!

A Year Goes By So Fast....

It isn't Adilyn's birthday until Wednesday but I have been reflecting back to last year since I had her on Monday morning. WOW! How quickly a year goes by and how sad I am to have those baby months gone. It is nice, however, to see her learn and grow. It seems she has truly become a little toddler in the last couple weeks with walking, talking more, getting more teeth and interacting...oh, and of course, who could forget the tantrums that have begun? :)

What a crazy time it was, last April. Tim was finishing the second "track" of his training and I was a balloon ready to pop with swollen feet that wouldn't hardly fit into Crock's! I planned Adilyn's birth (c-section) according to when Tim could have a couple days to spend with us and all my efforts went down the drain because the Air Force's Instructor's are incredibly thoughtful....another story for another day....I'd hate to ruin this lovely post about my sweet princess:).

We went in early Monday morning and Adilyn joined us at 9:00am. How MUCH she looked like Tim, it was incredible! Everything went really well and we were filled with joy that our baby had arrived. Tim had to fly the next day so needless to say, he was unable to spend much time with us at the hospital Tuesday or Wednesday so we went home a day early. How incredible it was to see Tim's confidence as a new father. He jumped right in (partly because I was recovering) and changed diapers, held her, got her dressed, etc. How intensely my love for him grew and what a GREAT dad he is! I am truly blessed with a wonderfuly supportive husband who sacrifices so much for us. We miss you babe (he's at Survival training til the end of the month).

Anyway, didn't want to post something terribly long but I just wanted to share with you my thoughts from today. How wonderful it is to be a mother and ESPECIALLY Adilyn's mother! How much I love my little munchkin!!!!

Why would I remove Tim's post?

So, I've been working on getting a new post together because we had an early B-day party for Adilyn since Tim was going to be at Survival. But, it's difficult to get things together since I'm at my parents and I still don't have it ready with pictures and the video. I did, however, want to let my husband know though.....I didn't remove your last post, either it didn't save or it's old enough that it was archived! Such a cutie....he doesn't blog too often! :)

We did have a chance to take some family photos with Tim's family while in SLC. For the heck of it we decided to take a picture of the 3 of us and some with Adilyn. Stay tuned for our little Addy and her 1-year birthday party.....

Hey ladies and gents I thought I would take a moment and "blog" its been a while and I see that Crista has removed my last post. Fisrt an update on me and where I am for that last few days I have been in Salt Lake City spending time with the family before I head back to Del Rio then Spokane Wa for yet 3 more weeks of training. This time it is Survival training. Imagine 5 fun filled days in the mountains in April with no food followed by SERE training if you don't know what that is google it, I'll only say it sucks, and I will be glad when its over. After that is Del Rio, Altus then "Dover or Bust". Can't wait to get there and start downing crab cakes like they are going out of style. I 'm also very excited to start flying operationaly as all of my flying to this point has been training. I hope to see Europe and Iraq from 30,000 ft this summer, and who knows where else.

Now I would like to make mention that there is a lot of "frilly" stuff going on all over these blog pages, gentlemen its time to "butch it up a little". I'll take the fisrt step and post some photos of the greatest Airlifter the world has ever know. The GlobeMASTER is aptley named, and after having logged some 30 hours between training sorties and rides to Tacoma and Charlston I am quiet sure I fly the greatest Lifter that has ever split air molecules at FL340 or FL003 for that matter. Here are some more photos for your viewing enjoyment. In Closing "Gentlemen, Step it up, and good day to you ladies out there and "Above All" Blue Skies". (p.s. pun intended)
